UUcode Terms of Service

Welcome to UUcode!

These Terms of Service (hereinafter "Terms") constitute an agreement between you (hereinafter "User" or "you") and UUcode (hereinafter "we" or "this website") regarding the use of UUcode's API interfaces and related services (hereinafter "Services").

Please read and fully understand all terms carefully, especially clauses regarding liability limitations, prohibitions, and dispute resolution. You may not use the Services unless you have read and accepted all terms. By purchasing, registering, or using the Services, you are deemed to have read and agreed to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Content

UUcode provides aggregated AI API services (API Wrapper). The Services aim to provide developers and enterprises with a convenient, efficient, and stable AI programming and model invocation tool to help users connect with upstream AI models.

2. User Conduct Guidelines

When using the Services, you must comply with all applicable laws and regulations and must not use the Services for any illegal or non-compliant activities, including but not limited to:

• Prohibited illegal content:Transmission, storage, or processing of any content that violates laws and regulations or infringes upon others' intellectual property rights, privacy rights, reputation rights, or other legitimate rights.
• Prohibited malicious use:Abusing the Services (e.g., high-frequency concurrent attacks) to impose undue burden on or attack the systems of this website or third-party AI service providers.
• Compliance with upstream rules:Any third-party AI models used through the Services (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) must comply with the respective provider's Terms of Service and Usage Policies.

3. Strictly Prohibited Activities (Red Line Terms)

The following activities are strictly prohibited. Upon discovery, we will immediately ban your account withno refund：

Prohibited redistribution and resale:

• Reselling, renting, or leasing your account or API access (Key) is strictly prohibited.
• Sub-licensing your account or providing access to third parties is strictly prohibited.
• Distributing or sharing your API keys in public places (e.g., GitHub public repositories, blogs) is strictly prohibited.
• Multiple people sharing the same personal account is strictly prohibited.

Service abuse:

• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract source code from the Services is strictly prohibited.
• Using technical means to circumvent our usage limits (e.g., rate limits) or security measures is strictly prohibited.
• Using automated scripts to bulk-register accounts is strictly prohibited.

Unauthorized commercial use:

• Using our API to build resale services that directly compete with UUcode (i.e., "nesting" or "2API" behavior) is strictly prohibited.

Illegal or high-risk use:

• Use for generating pornographic, violent, or terrorist content is strictly prohibited.

Special note: Use for "Tavern"-type unmoderated role-playing services that may induce NSFW content, or for building unreviewed secondary API distribution services (2API), is strictly prohibited.

4. Intellectual Property

Our intellectual property:The intellectual property of the UUcode website and all its content (including but not limited to website design, API interface definitions, text, graphics, code, and logos) belongs to us.

Your content:The intellectual property of input content (Input) and output content (Output) submitted through the Services is governed by the provisions of the underlying third-party AI service provider you use. UUcode does not claim ownership of your business data.

5. Privacy Protection

We value the protection of your privacy. For information on how we collect, use, and protect your personal information, please refer to ourUUcode Privacy Policy. This policy is an integral part of these Terms.

6. Disclaimer and Liability Limitations

Services provided "as is":The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Due to the special nature of AI technology and the uncertainty of upstream providers, we do not guarantee that the Services will meet your specific requirements or that the Services will be uninterrupted.

Output content disclaimer:Code, text, or suggestions generated through the Services are for reference only. AI models may produce incorrect information (hallucinations), and you need to judge their accuracy and usability yourself. We shall not be liable for any direct or indirect losses (including but not limited to data loss, business interruption) caused by the use of any content generated through the Services.

Liability cap:To the maximum extent permitted by law, under no circumstances shall our total liability to you exceed the total fees you actually paid for using the Services in the twelve months preceding the claim.

7. Service Changes, Interruption, or Termination

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate certain features of the Services at any time based on business development (e.g., upstream model price adjustments, API deprecation). We will notify you in advance through website announcements, email, or console notifications when possible.

If you violate these Terms (especially Section 3), we reserve the right to suspend or terminate the Services to you and freeze your account balance at any time without prior notice.

8. Terms Modification

We reserve the right to revise these Terms from time to time as needed. The revised Terms will be published on the website and take effect from the date of publication. Your continued use of the Services after the Terms are updated will be deemed acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution

The formation, validity, interpretation, performance, and dispute resolution of these Terms shall be governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China.

Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms shall first be resolved through amicable negotiation; if negotiation fails, either party may submit the dispute to the competent people's court at the location of the website operator.
