Privacy Policy

Effective Date: December 25, 2025

UUcode (hereinafter "we" or "this website") understands the importance of personal information to you and will do our utmost to protect the security and reliability of your personal information. We are committed to maintaining your trust in us by adhering to the principles of consistent rights and responsibilities, clear purposes, informed consent, minimum necessity, security assurance, subject participation, and transparency.

This Privacy Policy (hereinafter "Policy") aims to explain how we collect, use, store, share, and transfer your personal information, and how you can access, update, delete, and protect such information.

Please carefully read and understand this Privacy Policy before using UUcode's products or services.

1How We Collect and Use Your Personal Information

During your use of UUcode services, we will collect and use your personal information for the following purposes described in this Policy:

Registration and Login

When you register a UUcode account, we collect your email address and password to create and verify your account and send you necessary service notifications.

Service Provision (Core Business Data)

When you use our API interfaces or web services, we collect your input code, prompts, queries, or other related information ("Input Data") to forward this information to third-party AI service providers (such as OpenAI, Anthropic) and return the generated results to you.

Special Note: UUcode acts solely as a data relay channel. We do not permanently store your input data or generated content. This data exists only briefly in our memory during request processing and is discarded afterward to maximize your data privacy.

Payment Information

If you choose to use UUcode's paid services, we collect your payment information through third-party payment channels (such as Alipay, WeChat Pay, Stripe) to complete transactions. We do not store your complete bank card numbers or sensitive payment credentials.

Device and Log Information

To ensure normal service operation, security risk control, and troubleshooting, we may collect your device information (such as device model, OS version), IP address, and service log information (such as API request time, request path, error codes).

2How We Use Cookies and Similar Technologies

To ensure normal website operation, provide a smoother browsing experience, and maintain your login status, we store small data files called Cookies on your computer or mobile device. Cookies typically contain identifiers, site names, and some numbers and characters. Through Cookies, we can store your preference settings and other data to avoid repeated logins.

3How We Share, Transfer, and Publicly Disclose Your Personal Information

We will not share your personal information with any company, organization, or individual outside of UUcode, except in the following circumstances:

With Your Explicit Consent

After obtaining your explicit consent, we will share your personal information with other parties.

Sharing with Authorized Service Providers

Solely for the purpose of providing the services described in this Policy (i.e., providing AI responses), we need to forward your input data to the underlying AI model service providers (e.g., OpenAI). This is a necessary component of providing the Services.

Legal Requirements

We may share your personal information externally as required by laws, regulations, or mandatory administrative or judicial requirements.

4How We Protect Your Personal Information

Technical Measures

We have implemented industry-standard security measures to protect the personal information you provide. For example, all data transmission through the UUcode website and API uses SSL/TLS encryption to prevent data from being intercepted or tampered with during transmission.

Data Minimization

We take all reasonably practicable measures to ensure that no irrelevant personal information is collected. We retain your personal information (such as account information) only for the period necessary to achieve the purposes described in this Policy, unless an extended retention period is required or permitted by law. As mentioned above, core business data (Prompts) is destroyed after use and not retained.

5Your Rights

In accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and common practices, we ensure your exercise of the following rights regarding your personal information:

Access Your Personal Information

You have the right to log into your account to view your profile, billing records, and API usage.

Correct Your Personal Information

When you find errors in the personal information we process about you, you can make corrections in your account settings.

Delete Your Personal Information

You may request account cancellation and deletion of personal information. Once cancelled, we will stop providing services to you and delete your personal data, except as otherwise required by law.

Change Your Consent Scope

For additional personal information collection (if any), you may grant or revoke your consent at any time.

6How We Handle Children's Personal Information

UUcode's products, website, and services are primarily intended for adults (developers and enterprise users). Children may not create their own user accounts without the consent of a parent or guardian. For children's personal information collected with parental consent, we will only use or publicly disclose such information as permitted by law, with explicit consent from a parent or guardian, or as necessary to protect children.

7How This Policy Is Updated

Our Privacy Policy may change as the business develops. Without your explicit consent, we will not diminish the rights you are entitled to under this Privacy Policy. We will post any changes to this Policy on this page, and for significant changes, we will notify you via email or website announcements.
